Du design d’espace au design computationnel et inversement, l’Atelier de Recherche et de Création Ecotone se positionne en échos des objectifs de l’unité de recherche ECOLAB de l'Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design d'Orléans.

L'atelier Écotone propose un travail de recherche interrogeant des objets (images fixes, animées, sons, performances) et leur rapport au support et à l'espace. La question de la forme finale, de la représentation dans l'espace participe à l'élaboration formelle du travail.

Les formes les plus légères en termes de conception et de manipulation sont privilégiées.

From space design to computational design and vice versa, the Ecotone search and creation workshop echoes the objectives of the ECOLAB unity from ESAD Orléans.

The Ecotone workshop puts forward research work questioning objects (fixed and animated images, sounds and performances) and their relation to the matrix and space. The final result and the representation in space question also participate in the formal elaboration of the work.

In terms of conception and manipulation, the lightest forms are favoured.
